rar is a zip program but i could be wrong.the link to that 74 show is a folder that contains shn files and not rar files.here's a link to actual lossless formats.

Precisely my point. I had not mentioned WinRAR archives in my two prior posts, and so I might have by my omission created the erroneous impression that such archives could not contain lossless files.

i read into your post wrong.thought you where saying using winrar to compress wav files like how they compress wav files to flac or shn with shn drifting away into the sunset.
